Protecting Taxpayer Dollars and Delivering Accountable Government
Every tax dollar belongs to the people of Lodi, and City Hall has a responsibility to spend those dollars wisely. I'm proud of the work we've done to strengthen financial accountability by updating the City's financial policies, establishing a Finance Committee, and supporting the hiring of a qualified City Treasurer to improve oversight and transparency.
But our work isn't finished. Lodi must put its finances on a sustainable long-term path. We cannot continue postponing difficult decisions or leaving future generations to solve today's problems. I'll continue asking the tough questions, carefully reviewing every budget decision, improving operational efficiency, pursuing responsible new revenue opportunities, and protecting taxpayers from unnecessary tax increases.
One of the commitments I'm most proud of is bringing government directly to our neighborhoods. Through my town halls and community meetings, I've heard firsthand what matters most to residents. Listening is where good government begins—but it isn't where it ends. Residents deserve elected leaders who do their homework, build partnerships, solve problems, and deliver results.
That's the standard I've set as your Councilwoman, and it's the commitment I'll continue to bring as I work every day to keep Lodi moving forward.
